An Integrated Nutrient Management (INM) training was successfully conducted in Barangay Tairan, Lantawan, Basilan (TARBAMC). This hands-on session aimed to educate local coffee farmers on sustainable farming practices, focusing on maintaining healthy soil structure, improving nutrient balance, and increasing coffee yield. ๐พ
As part of the support provided, fertilizers were distributed to all coffee farmer beneficiaries, helping to ensure that farmers can immediately apply what theyโve learned and boost their farm productivity.
This initiative reflects the power of collaborative partnerships! ๐ชโจ
Spearheaded by the BAEP LEAP project โ a dynamic collaboration between People In Need (PIN) and MARADECA, with vital support from the European Union (EU) โ this activity is part of a larger mission to rejuvenate the coffee industry and improve farmer livelihoods in Basilan.
Through knowledge-sharing, resource distribution, and community empowerment, weโre not just planting seeds โ weโre cultivating resilience, sustainability, and hope. โ๐ฟ
Together, weโre brewing lasting change โ one bean at a time.
