What is Agricultural Enhancement Farming Training?  In partnership with the CARITAS-Australia and DAF-ARMM, MARADECA’s Sustainable and Enterprise Development Program, conducted the training to the farmers member in Brgy. Moriatao Datu, Lumbayanague, Lanao del Sur Province on March 23, 2017. MARADECA reaches out to save lives

In partnership with Plan International, MARADECA responded to an emergency situation as a  result of the war that erupted in Marawi City last May 23, 2017 to present. On June 14-18, 2017 relief goods were distributed in the Informal Evacuation Centers at the  Madrasatul Jadidah, Baloi Rice Mill & the Mahad Abdel Azis Al-Islamie in the Municipality of Baloi, as well as in barangay Mahayhay and Celdran Village, Barangay Tubod in Iligan City. Civil society groups complete CDA seminar

Some 29 members of civil society groups in Lanao del Sur successfully completed a Pre-membership Education Seminar (PMES) conducted by both CDA and MARADECA in Moriatao Datu, Lumbayanague on April 29, 2017.  Participants were 13 males from Ompongan o Mga Datu sa Ranao (OTR) and 17 females from Ompongan o mga Bae sa Ranao (OBAIRA). Building Peace in Mindanao with CRS

The Maranao People Development Center, Inc. (MARADECA) in partnership with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) had a joint project called “Applying Binding, Bonding and Bridging Peace in Mindanao. CRS distributes relief supplies to IDPs through MARADECA

The Catholic Relief Service (CRS)  in cooperation with Maranao People Development Center (MARADECA Inc.,) distributed Hygiene Kits (grooming kits) and Kitchen Utensils (towels, bed sheets, mosquito nets, blankets, cooking pots, portable toilet, basins, plates and glasses, and nail cutters) on June 2017, a few weeks after the fall of Marawi City. The targeted displaced people were those staying in the Evacuation Centers and even in home-based in Iligan City and Baloi IDP communities. Plight of IDPs in the Marawi crisis addressed by NGOs

In the midst of Marawi Crisis, MARADECA through its emergency response component have conducted several interventions to complement the government assistance to the demand for  immediate and basic necessities of the increasing number of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). This includes the voluntary engagements of Returned Volunteers (RVs) from the Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) in supporting of the plight of the affected IDPs.
